BodyAid practitioners employ “The BodyAid Protocol” in the treatment and care of our patients. This was formulated to ensure our patients receive the utmost care, involving a specific combination of techniques tailored to suit each individual patient’s needs.

The protocol was originally developed by Dr Magdy Andrawes, founder and principal chiropractor of BodyAid. Today our protocol embodies a combination of techniques, specifically selected for their effectiveness by our team.

Our treatment style combines gentle, proven and effective modalities for all types of patients with all types of conditions. The beauty of our protocol is that our practitioners can individually tailor treatments to not only the individual patient, but also to their complaint.

Chiropractic is a form of complementary and alternative medicine which is primarily concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Emphasis is placed on the body’s own ability to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery.

Chiropractic utilises manual adjustments or manipulations; a very safe, specific, controlled force applied to a joint to restore proper function and mobility. If the body’s spine or joints are negatively impacted on by accidents, falls, or stress, the communication between the nervous system and other parts of the body are affected. Overtime this decreases the general healing capabilities and function of the body, resulting in poor health. If left unresolved, this can make you more susceptible to chronic health problems.

Chiropractic treatment aims to re-establish normal spinal mobility and alleviate irritation on the spinal nerves, thereby promoting proper nervous system function and restoring optimal whole-body health. Chiropractic recognises the value and responsibility of working in cooperation with other health care practitioners and will refer to appropriate specialists when required.

At BodyAid we take a holistic approach to treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
